Finishes, maintenance and construction in Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta holds two very different building realities. Downtown and in the Zona Romántica the work is on older buildings, narrow lots and difficult access: remodeling, structural reinforcement and finishes in occupied homes. To the south, in Conchas Chinas and Boca de Tomatlán, the problem is slope, retaining and earthworks.

Permitting falls under the municipality of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, with requirements that differ from Bahía de Banderas. That difference gets planned into the construction programme: a badly scheduled permit stops an entire project.
