Nuevo Vallarta, 2024. Polished stucco, exposed finishes and paint on a contemporary two-storey residence, in collaboration with Arq. Juan Robles.
Exposed finishes are unforgiving: the concrete texture stays visible and any badly done repair reads as a permanent patch. On this project the work was as much about applying as about deciding where not to, leaving the concrete exposed wherever the pour had come out clean.
