Nuevo Vallarta, 2021. A built fire pit, exterior lighting design and finishes in the garden area of a residence facing the lagoon.
The piece is circular, built in place, with an integrated perimeter bench and a central burner. It was built from excavation up: the photo sequence shows layout, reinforcement and pour before the final finish.
Exterior lighting is what completes the space. The entrance axis, with lit columns running toward the lagoon, transforms after dark, and that is when the house actually gets used.
